Contact form
When you write to us through the contact form on the Contact page, we collect: your name, e-mail address, subject, and the message you choose to send. These data are used solely to reply to your enquiry. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by submitting the form.
Newsletter
When you subscribe through the The Maison page, we store your e-mail address in our database to occasionally send you news about Maison Souffle des Champs. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may unsubscribe at any time by writing to maison@souffledeschamps.com.
Cookies
We use one strictly necessary cookie (sdc_lang) to remember your language preference for 30 days. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. We do not share any data with third parties.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (LH.pl, EU) keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, requested URL, timestamp) for security and infrastructure purposes. These logs are kept for a limited period and are not shared.
3. How long we keep your data
- Contact form messages: 12 months from the date of last contact, then deleted.
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
- Cookies: 30 days (language preference).
- Server logs: up to 90 days.

5. Sharing & international transfers
We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to third parties. Your data is hosted in the European Union (LH.pl, Poland).
6. Security
This website uses HTTPS encryption, modern security headers (HSTS, CSP, COOP), rate-limiting on login and forms, and is regularly maintained. No system is perfectly secure — please use a unique password if you create an account.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version. Significant changes will be announced on the homepage for 14 days.
